My MetaServer installation fails with an error related to ODBC
You try to install MetaServer from our MetaServer product page or a custom installer with an Access database and get the message that the installation failed because of an ODBC error.
This problem is caused by a damaged Access Database driver and can be solved by installing or repairing your driver
Solution:
Step 1: Install or repair “Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable” from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54920
IMPORTANT: make sure you install the 32-bit version and not the 64-bit version.
Step 2: after your installation / repair has completed, try and install your MetaServer again.
