MetaServer is a stand-alone, modular product. You buy the base MetaServer license, any additional modules and / or concurrent clients and workflows you need only once (= perpetual license) + 20% year first year maintenance.

Based on how many years of maintenance you order, a discount is applied:

1 year: 20% of license price / year

2 years: 18% of license price / year

3+ years: 16% of license price / year

A MetaServer Server license is tied to 1 PC, Server or VM.

MetaServer does not apply any page limitation.

If you already have a MetaServer solution, you can always try out (by requesting a trial of that module) or purchase any additional modules, concurrent clients or workflows at any time you'd like. By refreshing your license, the new module will be automatically activated.

The MetaServer base license already includes the following features:

• 2 concurrent clients (Admin and / or Operator Client)
• Create up to 2 workflows

• Import from Folder: import PDF / TIF / JPG / PNG files from a specified folder and its sub folders.
• Import from Workflow: import documents and metadata from another workflow. This action is the entry point for another workflow’s Export to Workflow action.

• Separate Document / Process Page: automatically separate documents and delete or rotate pages based on rules.
  
• Organize: send the file to the organizer to visually separate the document, edit the order of pages, delete pages, etc.
  
• Validate: based on the validation rules, send invalid documents to the validation viewer to complete or check the data.
  
• Distribute: based on the value of a specific field, you can send a document to a different action in the workflow

• Delete Page(s): delete certain pages of the document (e.g. delete separator sheets)
  
• Add External Documents: append or prepend additional documents that already exist on disk to the document processed by MetaServer.

• Convert to Black and White: convert specific pages of your document to black & white.
• Convert to Image PDF: convert any of the supported file types to an Image-only PDF.
• Convert to JPG: convert any of the supported file types to JPG.
• Convert to Multipage TIF: convert your document to a multipage TIF.

• Scale Page(s): automatically scale your document images and reduce the file size.
• Set PDF Properties: password-protect PDFs and set permissions for certain operations.
• Convert to Searchable PDF: convert image-based (scanned) PDF / TIF / JPG / PNG files to searchable PDF files, partially or completely.

• Export to Folder / FTP: send the result to a folder or FTP Server.
• Export to Workflow: send the result to another workflow for further processing. The receiving workflow will need an "Import from Workflow" action to function as an entry point.

The Bar Code Generator is a stand-alone product.

The Bar Code Generator does not apply any page limitation.

The price of our export connectors for Tungsten Express depends on the Tungsten Express license level.

There are 7 possible license levels:

1. Desktop
2. Workgroup
3. Workstation
4. Low Volume Production
5. Mid Volume Production
6. High Volume Production
7. Super High Volume production.

If you make use of a digital copier (MFP) and you import documents in Tungsten Express with FolderScan, the license level determines the speed of importing.

"Desktop" imports at 30 ipm, "Workgroup" at 60 ipm,"Low Volume Production" at 90 ipm, etc.

For each Tungsten Express station that uses a CaptureBites product you need a license with the correct level for that product.
